Our healthy balanced meals and snacks throughout the day are prepared within our main kitchen. Menus are planned by our chef and are reviewed twice a year and parents can contribute. Our younger babies have the added advantage of a freshly prepared weaning menu, which rotates on a two-week cycle and our older children are offered a balanced menu over a four-week cycle. We ensure that children eat a wide range of foods, from around the world so they can enjoy both familiar and far flung flavours. We provide fresh fruit and cow’s milk at snack time.
We would like to announce that we are pork and nuts free nursery. Dietary requirements, parental preference and food allergies are respected in our nursery. All children are provided with traffic light place mats during meals time. These place mats bear the child’s name and any details of their allergy/specific requirements. The place mats are colour coded as follows:
• ‘green’ for child can eat everything,
• ‘yellow’ for parental preference,
• ‘red’ for allergies
